Chuikhim is a small village on the southern stretch of Kalimpong hills in Darjeeling district of West Bengal. The village stretches across a couple of hills, with handful of houses and a tiny water stream called the Leesh Chu (Leesh River) passing through it. Situated at an altitude of 3500 feet this place is picturesque abode and delight for the visitor.

The sublime beauty and peaceful atmosphere rejuvenate the soul and create a lasting impression on the visitors. It is truly an offbeat destination in the lap of Himalaya away from the busy life of the cities. This wonderland is situated on the slope of the mountains and amid strikingly beautiful, lush green tea gardens. The valley which is set in the backdrop of mountains is bathed with mist and clouds. The valley gradually slopes down to the riverbed of Lees River. Few other streams are flowing across the valley enhances the beauty of this wonderful village.
