In 1896 Bose wrote 39 Niruddesher Kahini 39 the first major work in Bengali Science fiction, later he added the story in his Cabyakta 39 as 39 Palatak Tuphan 39 . He also invented the Crescograph. Jagadish Chandra was born on 30 November 1858 in Bikrampur present day Murshigunj district near Dhaka, in Bangladesh during the British Raj. Develop his research. JagadishCh Bose 39 s major contribution in the field of biophysics was the demonstration of the electrical nature of the conduction of various stimuli like woods, chemical agents in plants. He was the first natural scientist to study the action of waves on the plant tissues and their reactions. With his experiments he hypothesized that plants can feel pain. The Indian Botanic Garden was renamed as the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Botanic Garden on 25th June, 2009 in honour of the great Bengali polymath and natural scientist, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose. The fellow of Royal Society 1920 and a member of the 39 Vieana Academy of Sciences 1928 39 , and 39 The Finnish Society of Science and letters 1929 39 Jagadish Chandra Bose received many honour throughout his lifetime like Companion of the Order of the Indian Empire, CIE, 1903 , Companion of the Order of the Star of India CPS 1911 and Knight Bachelor 1917 .
