Located among the hilly terrains of Durpin Dara, lies the 18 hole Army golf course maintained by the Indian Army at Kalimpong in West Bengal. Rachela Pass is a 12km trekking route from Lava through the Neora Valley Nature Reserve. The route being steep offers scenic beauty of magnolias, rhododendrons, and bamboo trees. The treks highest point is the Rachela top on the ridge forming the border. It’s a tri junction between Sikkim, West Bengal, and Bhutan. The region is also a natural habitat for Red Panda and Tigers.
