West Bengal possesses a diverse nature and wildlife ecosystem that is renowned amongst wildlife enthusiasts since decades. The diverse wildlife includes Royal Bengal Tiger in the Gangetic delta of Sundarbans, Indian One-horned Rhinoceros grazing in the Terai/ Dooars grassland, the leopards lurking in the foothills of the Himalayas and Red Panda resting in bamboo groves of Himalayas.
